I have been an educator for 12 years. I taught World History at Spring Woods High School for the past 10 years and also served as Department Chair for Social Studies and ESL Sheltered Content Coordinator. The Spring Branch community has been my home for 22 years.

I hold a BA in History from the University of New Orleans and a M.Ed. in Educational Administration from Lamar University.

 This year the focus for 8th grade will be goal-setting for future success.Our class theme will be "Dream It, Believe It, Achieve It!"  As we progress through the school year together, we will learn to develop strong work ethics, make good behavior choices, and strive for excellence in our endeavors.  We will prepare for the next step, moving into high school. Panthers to Tigers!
