This is my first year teaching at Spring Oaks Middle School.  Last year, I taught 5th grade at Sherwood Elementary.  I have also worked within Cy-Fair ISD.  I am excited to be working across grade levels this year with ESL (English as a Second Language) students.  Students learning English need extra support, and I am happy to assist them in any way that I can.  I graduated from LeTourneau University (with honors!) with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, and I am certified to teach all core content classes from grades 4 through 8.

I hope that all of my students look forward to lots of learning, discovery and aquisition of new knowledge and language this school year!

 Tutoring

If you are falling behind or don't understand, let me know and set up a day to come in before school for tutoring. Tutoring is offered before school except during the basketball season.  Wednesdays are reserved for faculty, department, and grade-level meetings.

Retesting

Any student that scores below a 75% on a test will be given the opportunity to re-test.  It is the student's responsibility to schedule the re-test with me.  Re-test will be scheduled during tutorials and 75% will be the maximum attainable grade.
