Health Fitness is an elective class where girls must take at least 3 semesters of during their 3 years in middle school. The class is a multitude of activities and learning opportunities for each girl. The girls will learn to play sports such as volleyball, badminton, bowling, soccer, basketball, and LaCrosse. They will also have the opportunity to learn how to use rhythms to create a jump rope and dance routine. Physical fitness and learning what is a healthy lifestyle will also be an important apect of the HF class. Girls will run, exercise, stretch, and lift weights to help better improve their cardiovascular and muscular fitness. The HF class is a fun but very active class; students will move close 90% of each class. I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know each girl.
