In the classroom, students will have the opportunity to partake in roles that contributes to the flow and function of the class. I believe it is important to establish community within the classroom, and at the same time create roles that establish structure within the 55 minute time-frame that we have to accomplish our daily objectives.

Classroom Managers: These volunteer roles rotate every two weeks and normally consist of tasks such as  Folder Manager, Bookshelf Manager, Supply Manager, and Neatness Manager.

Homework is given on an "as needed" basis in my class. If the student is given an assignment to take home, I ask them to write the information in their planner and I will post the assignment on my calendar.

 I am available for make-ups and tutorials every morning from 7am - 8am. Make-ups can be arranged as needed but might need to be scheduled through Gift of Time.
