This year in social studies the 8th grade students will be studying United States history.  We will be learning about important events from the time period of 1492-1877.  This will include the study of the colonization period, the Revolutionary War, the formation of our government (Constitution and Bill of Rights), the early years of our republic, the westward movement, the reform movement, the Civil War, the period of Reconstruction and so much more!
