Bruce Goodner was given  the Sue German Award for Excellence while Celeste Anderson was named Promising Young Teacher in March at the Adydos New Jersey Writing Project, Texas in Austin. Both provided training to other Language Arts teachers in the state. The New Jersey Writing Project provides training to teachers to help their students improve their writing skills. During the institute, the teachers undergo the experience of the writing process themselves to better understand what their students go through when they are learning how to write creatively.
