On behalf of Spring Branch Independent School District, I would like to congratulate Dr. David Sablatura for being selected SBISD’s 2008 Secondary Principal of the Year.  Dr. Sablatura is one of the state’s finest principals.  His integrity, professional standards and concern for his students, parents and community can be summed as exemplary.  We are proud to have such an outstanding administrator to lead in our District.  Dr. Sablatura has made many contributions in a variety of ways.  His input and expertise are shared at principal meetings.  His efforts in a variety of committees throughout the years have made significant impact on procedures and practices in the District.  Currently, Dr. Sablatura co-chairs the Discipline Management Committee, which is a major component of the SBISD Five Year Plan.  Congratulations to Dr. Sablatura for all his efforts.  We are proud to recognize him with this award, as well as in state-wide celebrations.
