Choice Program

Dual Language

Students completing an elementary Two-Way Dual Language program have the option to apply to the program.

The program's goal is for students to become biliterate and proficient in both languages.

Students completing SBISD’s Two-Way Dual Language program at Cedar Brook Elementary, Pine Shadows Elementary and Sherwood Elementary are encouraged to apply!

• Learn more about the CHOICE Programs process.
• Submit a Choice Application online.

Eligibility requirements:

• Student must be eligible to enroll in SBISD schools. Proof of Residency must be provided if chosen in lottery.

• Jan. 9, 2026 @ 11:59 PM - Application Closes
• Jan. 27, 2026 @ 10:00 AM - Run Lottery
• Feb. 6, 2026 @ 5:00 PM - Lottery Results Sent
• Feb. 20, 2026 @ 10:00 PM - Parents Accept or Decline Invitation Deadline
• May 4, 2026 @ 9:00 AM - Late Application Window Opens (Selected Schools TBD)
• July 17, 2026 @ 11:59 PM - Late Application Window Closes (Selected Schools TBD)
